Singapore Zoo June 08: Part 1

Derek’s boyfriend, William, paid us a visit over the weekend and boy, we had a great time! Or at least I did hehe. I felt that the weekend was longer than usual. So William, please come again soon!
I want to share a selection of photos taken at the zoo. These photos were taken by Derek and sent by William to me. More to come later.
I should use less Hazeline Snow.
Hmmm I thought I left my towel here.

I’m about to say how nice that tiger will be for a fur rug, but I’m supposed to be all for the ethical treatment of animals.

Tsk tsk. Banish such thoughts! Speaking of which, they did have a sample of giraffe’s skin for people to feel. Don’t know how they got it though.
i don’t think i’d be able to live with the fact that i contributed to the endangering of such a gorgeous animal by buying such a fur rug 
and ooh… interesting! so what does giraffe skin feel like wwc76? why did they have it in the first place?
Maybe they had the giraffe’s skin because a giraffe died then they wanted to preserve the skin? =X

I didn’t touch it because we were going for the exit and I was eager to take a rest outside the zoo.

Yeah, vaguely remember it was from a dead giraffe. Though I’m certain it was just for educational purpose, I wonder whether by being able to feel the skin for the first time some people may be tempted to get one. *Shrug* I surely hope not.
